Ans: Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer 4g is labeled to treat and control roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and Taenia pisiformis tapeworms in dogs. Fenbendazole disrupts parasite energy metabolism, supporting elimination of labeled intestinal parasites during the three-day dosing course.
Ans: Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer contains fenbendazole at 22.2% (222 mg per gram). Each 4g packet provides 888 mg fenbendazole. Fenbendazole is a veterinary anthelmintic used to treat labeled intestinal parasites in dogs when administered as directed.
Ans: Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer is administered once daily for three consecutive days. The 4g packet is a daily-dose option, and some dogs require packet combinations to match the recommended daily fenbendazole dose based on body weight.
Ans: The 4g packet is typically matched to dogs weighing about 40 lb as a daily dose. Dogs above that range may need packet combinations to reach the recommended daily fenbendazole dose, based on the dog’s current body weight.
Ans: Mix the full daily packet contents into a small portion of the dog’s regular food and ensure all medicated food is eaten. Administer the daily dose once per day for three consecutive days to complete the labeled regimen.
Ans: The labeled daily dose is 50 mg/kg (22.7 mg/lb) of body weight, given once daily. Use weight-based directions to select the correct packet size or combination and repeat the same daily dose for three consecutive days.
Ans: Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer is labeled for dogs and puppies 6 weeks of age and older. For dogs that are sick, debilitated, or have ongoing symptoms, veterinary guidance helps confirm appropriate timing, dosing, and follow-up care.
Ans: Most dogs tolerate fenbendazole well, but vomiting has been reported in a small percentage of treated dogs. If vomiting persists or other concerning signs appear during the three-day course, contact a veterinarian for guidance and next steps.
Ans: Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer is labeled for the treatment of Taenia pisiformis tapeworms. Dogs can carry other tapeworm species that require different treatment. If tapeworm segments persist after the three-day course, a veterinarian can confirm the species and advise options.
Absolutely reliable, great price and fast delivery! Thank you Discount Pets! I will be ordering my Fish Mox here from now on.
Was exactly what I was looking for at a great price. Delivery was on time. Would definitely order from this company again, and recommend to others.
It really works!!!!
thank you discount Pet, my feral cats and kittens are so much healthier!
I’ve ordered Fish Mox from them a few times and never had a problem. I am so thankful that I could get the amoxicillin without a prescription! I have several feral cats and all of their kittens have had eye infections. I started sprinkling the amoxicillin on the cats food when they are pregnant and I no longer have feral kittens with eye and or respiratory infections. It is my goal to trap all of my feral cats and get them spayed/neutered but I can’t seem to keep up. So thank you Discount Pet, my feral cats and kittens are so much healthier!
