Equine Imrab + Potomavac Vaccine

Equine POTOMAVAC^TM + IMRAB^® contains inactivated rabies virus combined with an inactivated suspension of Neorickettsia risticii
Recommended for the vaccination of healthy horses against rabies virus and potomac horse fever
Safety and efficacy of the vaccine has been demonstrated in controlled tests and through field evaluation
Safe for use for healthy horses, 3 months of age or older
The duration of immunity against rabies is at least one year

NOTICE: This item requires Express shipping due to the perishable nature of this product. Express orders are shipped Monday-Wednesday. Cannot be shipped to a PO Box. Product can only be shipped to the continental US.

Recommended Dosage

Shake well before use. For primary vaccination, aseptically inject 1mL (1 dose) intramuscularly (IM) into healthy horses 3 months of age or older.

For Neorickettsia risticii, revaccinate with a second 1mL dose intramuscularly 3 or 4 weeks later using this product or Potomavac^TM.

Revaccinate annually with a single 1 mL dose of Imrab^®+Potomavac^TM.

In rare instances, administration of vaccines may cause lethargy, fever, and inflammatory or hypersensitivity types of reactions. Treatment may include antihistamines, anti-inflammatories, and/or epinephrine. Vaccinating animals whose immune response is compromised by stress, disease, etc. may not produce the desired results.
